What is ' Hypochlorous acid ' ?
Hypochlorous acid is expressed by the chemical formula HClO, and has strong disinfecting and deodorizing power. It is naturally present in our bodies, and has antibacterial properties which make it useful as a disinfectant. It is thought that the neutrophils (white blood cells) in our bodies use hypochlorous acid to destroy bacteria and viruses.

What is an Ultrasonic Atomizer?
The ultrasonic atomizer converts MISTAIR into tiny droplets (3-5 microns) that are dispensed in the room. The droplets are much smaller than those from a humidifier, and therefore water droplets forming from condensation is far less of a concern.

Pure Water
Filtered using RO
MISTAIR is manufactured using only pure water that has been filtered using Reverse Osmosis (RO). The RO filter has pores that are 0.0001 microns in size, and removes 95% of impurities in the water. Japan’s public water supply has on average 100ppm of impurities. However, the water that is electrolyzed to make MISTAIR is an extremely pure 5ppm.

The salt used in the production of MISTAIR is of high quality, and is produced specifically for the electrolysis of saline solutions. Higher Bromine (Br) values indicate a lower purity of salt. Normal table salt has a Bromine value of 531, whereas the salt used in MISTAIR is of a far higher quality with a low (higher purity) Bromine value of 42.
